About Me

As a clinician, it is my goal to provide a safe, comforting, and encouraging environment for personal growth. I work from a strengths-based model to highlight the various systems in your life and work to address the needs and concerns that you bring into the counseling session. I strive to ensure that you feel supported and valued in our counseling relationship, this is one of the main benefits of seeing an independent provider.

I specialize in working with people going through transitions that might be stressful, including entering the workforce, leaving school or graduating, entering new environments or phases of life.

I have experience working with sexual assault survivors, both men and women. The journey of addressing trauma can be hard, and I am happy and honored to be a supportive person along your journey.

In my work, I utilize techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, person-centered, and strengths-based perspectives, and I work to address your needs and help facilitate a plan for you to live a more successful life.

Areas that I typically work with include life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual assault, PTSD, domestic violence, and adjusting to parenthood and women’s issues.
